Act Now Baltimore launches using faith-based leaders to help create change

A group of faith-based leaders launched a grassroots organization Tuesday aiming to bring accountability, transparency and change to leaders inside City Hall as the problems facing Charm City climb.

Rev. Al Hathaway at the helm, Act Now Baltimore launched its efforts as a cross-denomination, collaborative approach to working with city leaders. Hathaway, a senior pastor at Union Baptist Church in Baltimore City said his goal with the group is to have a massive network of point-people for Baltimoreans in need.
